I've never had a set 'rattle', but there is an adjustment on the tension for the hold downs, I bet they'd rattle if that were too loose.

I feel like that's about $2k overpriced.   It then I was never a fan of that era Thunderbird.

I've been tempted before by the S/C T-Bird, they seem to be fairly reasonably priced. Then i think back to my Ford dealership days in the late 90's and those Birds always coming in with spun rod bearings. One of the veteran techs told me they have really weak bottom ends for a boosted engine.

Same, never pulled the trigger, but I always look at them when they pop up in marketplace...Cool cars. I think a 5.0L version of the regular car would probably be the way to go. The Mercury Cougar variant was also available with the 5.0L, looked a little better IMO, and was typically better equipped. That's a car a lot of people sleep on....5.0L, RWD, big cushy seats, and you can find them for practically nothing.

Raiders are rebadged Mitsubishi Monteros, neat units. Have the same 2.6 4 that my Plymouth Voyager has. That said, they must be awful s-l-o-w.

A member of our Turbo Dodge community bought a 1983 Plymouth Scamp. I'd never heard of one. Its a one year only (1983) version of the Dodge Rampage.
