Found a few vehicles on Bring A Trailer that caught my eye.

1978 Plymouth Volare Super Coupe. It needs some TLC, but it looks good overall.

1991 Ford Escort LX Wagon. I'm curious as to what this will sell for. Most of these were used up and thrown away, so it's nice to see one in very good condition.

26k-Mile 2006 Lexus LS430. One for rrocket. And it's in that gorgeous Cypress Pearl! I'd love to get a ride in one someday.

Oh man, how many of those Ford Escort wagons were rolling around back in the 90's.  Crazy that one survived.

Obviously that LS is a cherry.  Would buy that over any modern luxury barge currently.

What does one do with that old Escort Wagon? Museum? Use it?

This sounds like a cherry of a car for Bubba.  All of the ones that I've seen for sale are ex cop cars and are very roughly handled through their ownership and high mileage.  So this is a unique one that might actually be a good buy.

I bet it would lay down a decent quarter mile at the drag strip too being AWD.

Looks like it's in good shape.  I never liked how high the awd cars sat.

Thanks for posting.

Man that Escort didn't depreciate much at all.

If only I owned a shop or was a good DIYer, this could be a pretty fun little project.  Heck it's probably worth this amount just for the powertrain, wonder if anyone has engine swapped that into something different?

Wasn't it Jaguar owned by Ford back then, would be pretty cool if you could easily swap it into something like a same era Mustang or even Thunderbird.

One of my favourite Jags; I still think they're beautiful. Tight back seat, though, and you might need a large budget to keep it running.

Another local interesting car listed on marketplace.  This one would be something that Firm would likely love.

Nice. Close buddy had a 79 as his first car. Not a nice example like that one though.

Ewww late 70's cars are so unappealing.  Styling was icky and the engines were a step back in power and character compared to the 60's and early 70's.
