This is my 6th Audi, first one without an inline-5.  2013 Q7 3.0T, fairly basic for a Q7, still lots of bells and whistles.  I got it for a pretty decent price, it was just safetied a few days ago.  AC needs a recharge, hopefully that's all it needs.  A  few scrapes and small dings, but overall pretty decent condition.

Very nice! I think these still look pretty sharp.

167k.   I'm still trying to figure out what options it has, it has the giant sunroof, which I didn't really want, oh well.

I suspect almost all of them have it.

You can use CarCostCanada to see what options were available: https://carcostcanada.com/Canada/UsedCarTrimPrices/2013-Audi-Q7/25465

Cognrats, it looks good in white? What's your take on the driving experience vs the Cayenne?

Those red ignition coils kinda caught my eye, figured someone had tossed on some Amazon replacements, but looked it up and nope...Audi (and all the aftermarket replacements) are red. Odd.

So far I figure it has NAV, the big-ass sunroof, parking assist, cold-weather package (heated steering wheel and rear seats), 19" wheels, plus all the standard Audi stuff.
Oddly, it has rubber Q5 floormats, also oddly, I have a set of Q7 mats that came with our Cayenne.

I've actually hardly driven it, been driving around in the Miata.   It seemed very similar driving to the Cayenne, a little longer (6" longer wheelbase) and higher, a little less power.

The coils were fairly recently replaced, seems like a maintenance item to just replace them all around 150k.  Brakes are also fairly new.
I'm going to go to the Audi dealer and see if I can get any records.

Were you using a 4 foot breaker bar? LOL 😆

When I put a 3/8" ratchet on the spark plug I thought it felt loose and like it was coming out, after about 3 or 4 turns it fell apart, I was obviously just spinning the porcelain in the sleeve.  Mechanic at the dealer had cracked it.
Getting the threaded part out with the easy-out took some effort, not a good feeling turning it when you know that effort is going into removing the threads tapped into the aluminum head.

Still not sure if the spark plug was the cause of the misfire or not, also don't know if I can tap some decent threads in the head or if it'll need an insert.  Then, I don't know if I'll trust it even if I get it going again.

Man, talk about bad luck. Sorry man :(

I'd chase the threads in the head and try threading in the new one - if it's good, take it for a good hard run, and if it holds, chances are it'll be fine.

This.

Barring that, Thread-Serts fix this.
