My "5 post review" will follow once my full review goes live, but at last I was able to spend a week with a top-tier RAM and it felt more like a Cowboy S-Class than a Cowboy Cadillac! Massaging heated/vented leather seats, pneumatic suspension, 19 speaker h/k stereo and, ahem, 540 hp. Even though I took it through my pretty rural "pandemic loop", I could do no better than a 17.8 l/100 km avg.

I always wonder when Chrysler come out with a new engine if it'll be a reliable one or some lump that will eventually break down epically after the warranty is gone.

Current vehicle, 2024 Acura Integra Type S

Revelations

It's one impressive engine. Seen some reviews with low 4's o-60. Think it'll probably be somewhat problematic, but so was the Hemi so buyers should be used to it. Hard to argue the merits of the Ram, pretty sweet units in top trim.

C/D says 4.2 to 60, and it feels like it, shoved in the seat and pop-off valves hissing.

What I'm driving this week does that run in 4.3, but is as remote as possible from the RAM - a Volvo EX 40.

I think the biggest challenge with comparing anything to an S-Class is ride quality in secondary and tertiary motions. I've spent a ton of time in the new Ram (heck, I own a Stellantis store), and while they're leaps and bounds better than they used to be, I have yet to experience anything BoF that I'd call a Cowboy S-Class.

I remember years ago on the old forum some members tried to claim that modern trucks basically drive as well as cars but that really isn't true in my experience. Trucks are definitely much better than they used to be but they're still trucks.
