Introducing my 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT

So the C30 started needing some costly repairs in summer 2022.  This continued until fall 2024 when I got the car ready for winter and decided that in spring 2025 I would get something new.  The C30 had other ideas.  By early January 2025 it began burning oil. Just a little on start-up at first, but it quickly got much, much worse.  Unwilling to put any more cash into the Volvo, and increasingly afraid it would leave me stranded one day, I made arrangements to reserve the vehicle I had been planning to get, a 2025 Trailblazer.  Why the Trailblazer?  It was available (did not need to wait 6 months or more), at the right price and interest rate, was the right size, and had a decent enough reliability record.  Took delivery on February 14, 2025.  I am really happy with it.  I like its upright chunky looks, the performance is fine, and the interior feels just as well-finished as the Volvo.  Its nickname is 'Gino,' because: black car.  Given that it's built in South Korea, part of me thinks it would be funny to re-badge it as a Daewoo...

Nice. Where did the C30 end up?

Congrats. My brother's girlfriend has one of these, whatever the first year was (2021?22?) it's been trouble free for them.

My parents got one of these a year or two ago, they really like it.

But you know you made a mistake...you should have bought the Buick version as we all know Buicks appreciate in value 😁

Congrats! I like these wee GM-Korea utes, friendly designs and peppy turbo 3 that gives them a distinct "voice". What trim did you get?

I sort of forgot these exist - they're not all that popular around my parts. Looks neat though, and I like the sound of three-cylinders!
