I wanted to get my hands on one of these since they launched. Brought it home yesterday. Will it live up to the hype?

I like the idea of this, and it's pretty good looking. Curious to hear what you think of it.

After Day 1, I can say it drives a lot better than anticipated. The unibody is firm and has none of the wiggles that plague BOF trucks. The 2.0t has a sporty rasp similar to the 2.5t in the Mazda3, and the thing scoots (0-60 mph in 5.6 according to c/d). It appears to handle pretty well too, but the biggest surprise so far is how frugal it is. In the low 7's for the initial trip back to the office, and in the low 9's after some in-town driving and rush hour traffic. Pretty comfy driver's seat too, and kick-ass B&O stereo. Kids know what the Lobo is - I get stares from young guys in beat-up AMG Mercs.

Nice to see that yours has the cool wheels. The stormtrooper colour scheme wouldn't be my first choice though.

To my eyes, these wheels remind me of...
