Easy sale, neat trade-in ('17 Alpina B6 Gran Coupe) with some meat on the bone left for it too. I will really, really miss it and I'm glad I got to enjoy that experience for over two years.

Of all the cars you've owned, far an away my favorite.

Mine too. Everything about that car was exactly how I'd want one.

I'd have an impossible task of deciding between a used LC500 and all the 911 C4S I could get for the same money...

Not that hard for me. The day the LC left, I took this home... and it's no context. LC all day every day.

My wife snagged the 911 for a quick drive and said "I don't love this, I miss our LC"

My dad helped me run an errand in the 911 and drove it about 45km... "This is nice and all, but I prefer your old smelly 911"

C4S? Not all the 911 Turbo for the same money? Or maybe a C2 GTS?

That's a really nice spec for a 911... But I'm blown away that a 7 year old C4 with 70k km is going for $130k.

Those 997s are rare and are always big money.

Unless you're selling a sketchy convertible on BaT, that is. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2012-porsche-911-997-carrera-cabriolet-3/

Different cars, different missions.

911 C4S can be properly hooned, year round.

It always broke my heart to put my Supra (or other sports car) away for the winter.

My C2 does decent enough in the winter  ;D

Yeah, the AWD of the C4 would help out a bit in the winter. When I was looking, my Porsche specialist buddy told me to stay away from the C4's, he said just more shit to wear out & more complicated to repair down the road when something goes south.

My ideal would be a 996 Turbo.

Robust car.
