Been a little while, rrocket sent me here after texting me. Thought I would say Hi. Missed chatting with you guys.

Life has been a struggle since...was it 2021 when I left autos.ca? Seems like forever.

Short: Sold the Jag. Cried watching it go. Currently no car. Relationship trouble disrupted long term plans. Mom fell down the stairs and almost died, had to move in and take care of her (still here). Got fired from Volvo, made scapegoat for the Mirins Group failure and Mark Motors moving in to take Volvo from them in Ottawa (still ongoing). Got my dream job at LAC as a military archivist. Let go weeks before being made permanent with all the govt cuts. Was on EI for a bit, now doing contract to contract with the CWM as a transcription historian. Thinking of going into the forces, no other choices really.

OH! And I tried to import another Alfa in 2024 - a beautiful red 2006 GT 3.2 V6. Turns out the Toronto importer, Right Drive (who I bought my old Alfa 155 V6 through), was owned by a criminal who stole millions from his clients and never bought cars he said he did from Japan. He is at large and criminal cases are moving forward. I at least got my money back (paid for the car in full) through OMVIC as the dealership went bankrupt. That was quite the ride. But it was heart wrenching watching my dream Alfa get re-auctioned right after I had "bought" it!

So hey guys, nice to see you. I hope you all are doing MUCH better than I am

I have now, and I certainly approve! Excellent spec and correct colour. The Giulia chassis is amazing, even in non QV form.

Thanks for the welcome guys, yeah it has been a rough one. A lot of dreams and plans permanently on hold and taking it day by day.
