That's certainly promising.  Fingers crossed you get some decent money out of her.

I drove her to the garage and left her for the weekend.  Mechanically she's pretty sound IMO, but some of the house systems are untested, I never installed the missing water pump to see how the water system is, or played with the sewage system for that matter.  I got the generator running, but not well...stuff like that.
I'm open to an easy sale, but I hope he doesn't lowball us.  We'll see.
See and to me a lowball offer is fine because I know I won't accept it and the decision is easy, similar to if they offer you more than you were expecting.  The difficult situation is when you have a price close to what you would want but have to do mental gymnastics to accept less.

Absolutely this.   Lowballs do make the decision easy.  Anyhow, he's still going over it and asking questions...but... coincidentally I was emailing a racing buddy about something else and he said he wants to see if for towing his Lotus racecar (1968 Type 41C) and touring.   So I have a backup plan now.

Always good to have options.  Hopefully you get some resolution sooner rather than later, even though I know you aren't in a big hurry.
