Wind / dust storm today.  It coated EVERYTHING.  The sky is grey, even though there aren't any clouds.

This is a great satellite photo of the system that hit us.  It picked up dirt in Montana and ND, and deposited it over Manitoba.  You can see the brown dust streak in that picture quite easily.

I'm hoping for some rain here, I have a lot of small spruce trees to burn...

It's really dusty where the forestry mulching is, not sure how I'm going to clean it up...or just leave it until some grass and  shrubbery take over?

Ottawa received 120 mm of rain yesterday in about a 4 hour span. It was bananas.

We lost power at 3pm yesterday and they are saying we will get it back around 9pm tonight. Good times!!

Was wondering how you faired, we didn't get any damage, or lose power. We weren't home yesterday, we were in Montebello golfing actually. We managed to get thru 18 with minimal rain

The only damage is a knocked over ping pong table. We will rebuild.

We got a little water in the basement from an overflowing eaves, but it was contained and I was able to get the water moving away from the house.

They are working on the lines now, so at least progress is being made. There's a good chance we crash at the in-laws tonight.
