A quick Google search tells me that it's a rebadged Trumpchi Empow manufactured by GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group).  It's sold internationally as the Trumpchi, and then rebadged as a Dodge in Mexico for some reason.

Cool, never heard of Trumpchi lol. I actually assumed it was some type of Peugeot or Lancia as those are under the Stellantis umbrella. When I did a quick google, I got results for the old model which was a rebadged Hyundai Accent, the Mitsubishi Mirage. I dozed off after reading about those lol. This appears to be a massive improvement in style at least.

Saw a Buick GNX the other day. Haven't seen one in years.  In a sea of crossovers and EVs that thing stopped me in my tracks.

Nice, it's been a hot minute since I've seen one.  I seem to see the Monte Carlo SS more from that era.

I saw a Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe locally not long ago. Only one I've ever seen.

I've never seen an aerocoupe in person. I did own a 1987 SS white/burgundy with T-tops when I was 19. Was dating my future wife at the time and she raced me in her Dads fairly new Dodge Dakota regular cab 2WD with a 318 V8 and she beat me by a nose. Was a pretty sad day for me and my SS. I so want another one, just love the look of them.

A guy I used to work work had an El Camino with a Monte Carlo SS front, wheels, etc.

Looked good!

Took my BIL/nephew's 28 000km 2002 Dodge Intrepid R/T to get coffee today.

It drew the attention of a lot of middle-aged white guys, lol.

Nice car.  Big and comfortable.  The 3.5 has power, but it definitely doesn't feel as urgent on the highway as modern cars.  That's probably down to the 4-speed slusbox.  The steering was weirdly heavy and communicative.  I could feel the front tires go over every bump and crack.

Revelations

Cool! The R/T was a super rare trim too. 28K, wow, not too many like that around.

Yeah that's a common modification of that generation El Camino and yes they do look really nice with the swap.

I don't know why there seems to be a few I see every year but never a Grand National or even really just normal Monte Carlos.  I do see a few El Caminos around town.

You could actually get an El Camino with the Monte front end as a factory dealer option...GM had a deal with 'Choo Choo' customs in the mid 80's and would send new El Camino SS's to them for a bit of a facelift to make them visually stand out. They're pretty rare, but they are around...Plus all the unofficial front end swaps that people have done over the years.

Fun random fact. The Majorette 1:32 diecast El Camino from back in the day had the Monte / Choo Choo front end on it. I distinctly remember having a couple of these as a kid:

Last week, a 2006-2008 BMW 760Li (yes, the V12 version!) in mint condition stuck in traffic. I can't imagine there were many of these sold new.

Even more impressive is the car's license plate was the period-correct ### ABC format that stopped being produced circa 2009  ;D  Meaning it's probably the original owner. It's possible the original owner sold the car and the new owner kept the same plate, but somehow that's not my feeling (60-70 year old Caucasian guy behind the wheel).

The repairs and upkeep on that car must be absolutely jaw-dropping...

On the same day, a 3rd generation Toyota Tercel hatchback. That thing looks tiny compared to even the smallest cars today.
