An Alfa. I approve of course, fantastic choice for a commuter with style and passion. The 159 is perhaps one of the best looking sedans of all time. Shame about it's chassis and engines though. That is what is keeping me from wanting one, even with the GM "Alfa warmed over" V6 it is supposed to be "meh" to drive. Hence why the Alfa I am currently trying to import is a 3.2 Busso-powered Bertone GT (937).

Still, well done fellow Alfisti. Cuore Sportivo.

One of the reasons I specifically looked for a late model was - for better or for worse, to be as much Alfa as possible. Mine has the then-new Euro 5 Fiat/Alfa 2.0 JTDm engine and C635 transmission rather than the old GM powertrain on the earlier MYs. Plus, the facelift went on a diet to the point where it was on par with the equivalent BMW E90 diesel of the same era.

Did you find the car already? They are quite rare and the good units go for a pretty penny. If you can, find one from Italy as they are usually cleaner as far as the rust goes.

Hey Dante, sorry for the prolonged absence. Oh yeah that 2.0 is a good little unit from what I have read.

I have not found my GT yet, and it would be coming from Japan. I would only import a rust free car.
