I participated in the Cars for a Cause show. It's truly a great cause going towards mental health. They also piggyback with the One Day Dreams program. It's become known locally for lots of exotics. I know this seems weird, but Windsor is still pretty darn blue collar so exotic cars are still somewhat rare here. Last year a 959 was the star of the show. This year it was the Veyron Tourbillion. So turnout is great ($5 to get in, to charity). And it's a fun show!  They have a couple RC tracks going, face painting, a limbo contest for the low cars, 50/50 draws, raffles, food, etc Just a fun time with a little something for most.

It's minor honor for me since the cars in the pavilion area must apply to be in the show. And they accepted my car. Was parked a couple cars over from Accelerated Performance owners Supra. These were the guys who did work on my Supra. His car is the VERY final produced North American Supra. And of course he modded it to the moon! LOL 😆 900HP on pump. The custom made titanium intake and intercooler pipes are works of art!!  Drove it from Ohio. Wife drives an R33 JDM GTR. Was great to catch up with these people!

For my part, people were blown away by the color. I endlessly answered "is that a real Porsche color?". Was a sunny day, so the exterior and interior looked especially spectacular. People were shocked when I'd tell them to feel free to get inside. Big smiles all around. Lots of photos. My car was even the first photo in a (small) news story.

I've uploaded some of my pics, but as you know I take turd pictures. So I've included links to better honor the cars! LOL 😆  Best in show was an old Jaguar XKE Coupe. Was beautiful. 25 year restoration!

Fantastic, love a good car show, and the Porsche looks great! I keep meaning to check out some of the big charity shows around here, but never have the time, or I find out about them too late to make time. We do have a really good local Cars & Coffee on Saturday mornings....Like 200+ cars on a decent morning, but it's 8-10am and it's tough for me to get outta bed early enough to make it over there on a Saturday after getting up super early all week.

The Boxster look fantastic Ron.  Great cause and a great time I'm sure.  That Supra looks the business.  Did you get a chance to walk around and see everything, was there a car you especially liked that was there?
