They haven't said outright that it's the Accord, but they did call it a "hybrid sedan", so everyone is speculating that it's the Accord.

The current car's profile is already fastback-like, and my main beef with it is that it's sports-car low. This Crown-esque ride height is intriguing from that angle, and the overall shape recalls the Type 0 EV. Honda did say they're not scrapping everything from that project, so there is some of that in the new unamed car.

Accord looks surprisingly clean. Kinda giving sporty liftback  vibes now instead of generic sedan energy . :)
