Old topic but that's terrifying.

Other than Hyundai, VW, and Ford, are any other manufacturers having issues figuring out how to maintain a 12V battery in their EVs?

Am reading its because of the apps.

The vehicle is always "looking" for commands from the app. And this can lead to dead batteries when not plugged in or used for a few days.

That's the story, anyways.

Seems like switching to an AGM goes a long way to fixing things.
