Title: Kia EV5
Post by: Blueprint on Dec 02, 2025, 07:59 AM
Prices are out for the Canuck-exclusive EV5. This one will be sized to compete with CR-V, RAV4 etc. and for once priced pretty much at parity with its gas competitors - curious to see how the market will react.

– EV5 2027 Light (fwd) – 43 495 $
– EV5 2027 Wind (fwd) – 47 495 $
– EV5 2027 Wind (awd) – 49 995 $
– EV5 2027 Land (fwd) – 49 995 $
– EV5 2027 Land (awd) – 52 495 $
– EV5 2027 GT-Line (fwd) – 55 495 $
– EV5 2027 GT-Line (awd) – 57 995 $
– EV5 2027 GT-Line Limited (fwd) – 58 995 $
– EV5 2027 GT-Line Limited (awd) – 61 495 $

Who knew the key to EV sales would be gas cars becoming ridiculously costly! Blows my mind that a base 2wd CR-V is over $40k.  That used to be Pilot pricing.

I think it looks good, and the range seems decent.

The Land awd trim ... lands right between the hybrid CR-V's Sport and Touring trims. Seeing how hot the EV9 is around the GMA, they will make a killing with this one.
