A quick Google search tells me that it's a rebadged Trumpchi Empow manufactured by GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group).  It's sold internationally as the Trumpchi, and then rebadged as a Dodge in Mexico for some reason.

Cool, never heard of Trumpchi lol. I actually assumed it was some type of Peugeot or Lancia as those are under the Stellantis umbrella. When I did a quick google, I got results for the old model which was a rebadged Hyundai Accent, the Mitsubishi Mirage. I dozed off after reading about those lol. This appears to be a massive improvement in style at least.

Saw a Buick GNX the other day. Haven't seen one in years.  In a sea of crossovers and EVs that thing stopped me in my tracks.

Nice, it's been a hot minute since I've seen one.  I seem to see the Monte Carlo SS more from that era.
Past vehicles, 2016 VW Golf R, 2020 VW GLI, 2022 Honda Civic Si

Current vehicle, 2024 Acura Integra Type S, 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF GT (manual)

I saw a Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe locally not long ago. Only one I've ever seen.

I've never seen an aerocoupe in person. I did own a 1987 SS white/burgundy with T-tops when I was 19. Was dating my future wife at the time and she raced me in her Dads fairly new Dodge Dakota regular cab 2WD with a 318 V8 and she beat me by a nose. Was a pretty sad day for me and my SS. I so want another one, just love the look of them.

A guy I used to work work had an El Camino with a Monte Carlo SS front, wheels, etc.

Looked good!

Took my BIL/nephew's 28 000km 2002 Dodge Intrepid R/T to get coffee today.

It drew the attention of a lot of middle-aged white guys, lol.

Nice car.  Big and comfortable.  The 3.5 has power, but it definitely doesn't feel as urgent on the highway as modern cars.  That's probably down to the 4-speed slusbox.  The steering was weirdly heavy and communicative.  I could feel the front tires go over every bump and crack.

Revelations

Cool! The R/T was a super rare trim too. 28K, wow, not too many like that around.
