Two Kia Stingers, one in front and one behind me. Probably the only two in Saskatoon, haha. Been a while since I've seen one.

Quote from: GreatBigAbyss on Dec 02, 2025, 09:22 PM^^^ That looks like a rebadged Corolla.

It was a lot weirder than that, with its tall cabin. Basically a fancier Prius with a closed trunk. Not bad cars in their days, but expensive for the class, hence low sales. The dash shows how vertical these JDM-intended cars were.

Current rides: 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV GS-L, 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Limited, 1975 Triumph TR6 Teabagger Express

It's totally a rebadged Corolla. But, it was the only way to get a Corolla hybrid at the time.

It was actually based on the 3rd gen Toyota Avensis (MC platform), a model Europe got but that never made it here. Engine was the 2.4 litre from the Camry hybrid.

I had one for a day as a loaner once.

Revelations

Quote from: Blueprint on Dec 02, 2025, 09:02 AMA wild-duck Monday for sure: not one, but two Lexus HS250h's, a Crown sedan, a Genesis G90 (they sold 2 in Canada in 2024, but to be honest - I think it was a colleague in the press vehicle) and ... a salted-up Huracan that, legally, should have been on snow tires.

Only 2 G90's sold here in 24?! That's too bad, I see one quite often in our area and its a fantastic looking car. Has huge presence going down the road. I'd be guessing depreciation on those is huge.

I saw a BMW 328d wagon today. If I knew nothing about the upkeep they would be a dream car.
