Coming back after a long absence.

But another thing that makes me happy is I am now employed again. I got into the Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer, and will be specializing in undersea warfare. Going to be an XO on one of the new subs in a few years if all goes well. Finally a career that may stick and a job that is steady where I can start planning for retirement one day, and have benefits, etc. If you cant teach...do in my case I guess.

I am just glad to be earning money again.

Oh and I have a car again too. Points to anyone who guesses what it is  ;D

Welcome back buddy!! That's quite the update!! WOW!!! Congrats on the new role :D

As for the car, that's a tough one to guess without many hints. I know you wanted another Alfa, but maybe that's down the road... so who knows?

Is it the Fiat 500 that's still in the family?

You got it! Bought it back from my brother, gave it some much needed TLC and new tires...and it is now my daily. The amount of fun just driving to the store is fantastic.

Got some more Mattel Brick Shop Hotwheels block set.  A Mercedes Benz 300SL, which truly is a beauty and the centerpiece of my collection, was able to find it heavily discounted for $80.  The level of detail on this version was pretty impressive.  There's luggage, plaid seats, a hood release inside the cabin, loads of metal pieces, a spare tire in the trunk, etc.

The off road version of the Lambo Huracan.  And probably one of my favorites an 83 Chevy Silverado, or as I like to call it a "Carleton Country Caddy", which is the area where I grew up where this sort of truck was every guys dream rig.

In the picture of the whole collection, if you look beyond that off in the distance you can see my red Miata parked in my works parking lot.

Always makes me smile going into my office seeing these.
