Been a bit off-grid, some life changes. We've purchased what's effectively our dream home, and some concessions had to be made to swing the well-over-budget buy. 599GTB is gone, LC500 is nearly gone, Integra Type R is gone. Diablo will be next on the chopping block, probably in the spring.

But... found the forever daily that better suits my lifestyle and can make daycare runs, etc. with ease, which the LC500 would struggle with. I had a few Lexus dealer friends looking for this exact car for quite some time; it's very "me". A 2017 LS 460 F-Sport with the rare Executive Package (air ride, adaptive cruise, massagers, etc. This is unique because it's the final year of the V8 in the LS, before it went to the turbo V6/hybrid setup.

Car had 63,000KM on it. I overpaid like crazy but there were only two '17 F-Sports with the Executive Pack sold in Canada, and this is the only one that's black/black. The other is white on caramel, which is the one colour I wouldn't buy.

While it's sad to have to part with some amazing cars to make that move, I'm sure being in your guys dream house brings much more happiness to your families life than those cars ever could, plus you still have lots of amazing cars to drive.

Definitely a car that would be well suited for daddy duty.  Does your wife still drive that RS6 wagon or do you have her in some demo from the dealer?  I seem to remember you might have moved on from that beastly wagon.

Wife still has the RS6, loves it. We're going on a year now and about ~12,000KM. More than I thought we'd put on it.

Further life changes. My mum needed a car (it was complicated) and I really didn't need this much money tied up into a winter beater that literally only gets driven from December to early March. It's still in the family but it's hers now.

My March to November commuting is cycling between the toys, and the "daily" will be my '99 S500 or the '04 G35 Coupe. Wintertime, I'll just grab a demo whatever-it-is from one of the dealerships and slap a plate onto it.

Just really trying to pare down on unnecessary daily commuting expenses and dump it into the house and/or further business development.

I'm sorry...what car is hers now?

Got to be the newly sorted Diablo right.  What better car for a mother.

I think the safe assumption would be the subject of this badly named thread.  ;D

With your situation, grabbing demos is the most logical commuting answer.

I almost thought it was another one of Ron's old cars.
