Got a pair of these driving loafers in the Cognac colour and was surprised that they even knocked another 20% off at the checkout with free shipping.

My old Karcher pressure washer kicked the bucket a couple weeks back so I picked up a Simoniz Platinum 1800 yesterday.  It was on sale at Ctire for $200, regular $300.

I really wanted an Active 2.0, but they are priced at around $500.  The Ryobi 1.8 (not 1800, different machines) is also well regarded in the car detailing community as it has good performance for less than $200, but its not available at Home Depot because of the current demand for it.  The Simoniz has similar specs to the Ryobi, so hopefully it performs as well.  I was looking for something that could put out 1.5-2.0 gpm at a pressure of 1000psi or so.  This seems to be about the limits for 120V pressure washers.  The Simoniz is rated at 2.0gpm at 1000psi (1800 max psi).  A lot of pressure washers are rated at higher psi, but then the flow is pretty low, like 1.0-1.2 gpm.  I was more interested in higher flow, and not interested in a gas version.

I have the 1,800 Ryobi,  it the one you were trying to get.  Bought it last year on sale and came with a free surface cleaner attachment.  I've been really pleased with it.  Had a Simoniz prior to that and it lasted a good 8+ years, but seemed like more of a pain in the butt as it was upright layout with a reel for the hose.  Was always falling over and getting tangled.  Much prefer the tool box shaped ones like mine and the one you bought.
