I like it when a manufacturer surprises me. GM gave me a base model Trax, the 1RS now being the entry-level trim. Twist key ignition, gauges with moving needles, driver's window with no auto up. And I really like it so far. The 3-pot is much quieter than my Crosstrek's flat four, and quieter even than the VC 3 cyl. in the Rogue. Fuel economy in the 6-7's for Day 1. Base stereo is pretty decent. HVAC controlled with three rotary knobs. Even has a spare tire! That's as analog as it gets these days!
