Title: Engine Oil Analysis
Post by: Bubba on Jan 17, 2025, 07:24 PM
I'm thinking about getting the Corolla's oil tested.

Any Canadian companies doing oil analysis?

Can't remember the lab name, but last oil sample kit I bought was through the local Caterpillar/Finning store. Think any Cummins/Detroit Diesel will be able to hook you up too.

You can buy testing kits from Amsoil. But they don't do the testing. The sample goes to a third party.

I use Horizon, personally. Their facility is in Edmonton. They also have a slick app where you can keep track of your reports.

BlackStone labs I believe. I haven't used them in at least 10-15 years, but at the time I remember picking up the sample kit at a Caterpillar store/office.
