I realized I hadn't really posted any photos of this thing here. It's the only Omega or Carlton that has ever been in Canada, and the second one ever made, the original mainland Europe press car. LHDs are called Omega, RHDs are called Carlton. It was the fastest production sedan in the world when it came out, and there's quite a story behind these.
Here's a five-part series about how I got her here:

Here are some photos from this past summer; they certainly don't hold a candle to my friend Nathan's photos in the above series:

Very interesting!
When I looked at the first photo quickly, the front has Fox body Mustang vibes to my eyeballs!
Very interesting! Super cool story..details, characters. As an epic road trip should be.

Wow, very cool. I didn't know these existed. I'll have to take the time to read through the articles.
OH WOW!! One of my childhood all time FAVORITE cars!! I'd probably make the drive halfway across Canada just to see it. The fact it WAS sooo close to me makes me sad I didn't see it. Amazing, I'm just thrilled you managed to acquire this beast. I legit had a magazine page cutout of one in my bedroom over my bed, along with the usual Lambos and Ferraris of the day. Remember my best friend asking why I had a boring looking sedan amongst those cool exotics lol.
That is a REALLY cool car!!
I too was obsessed with these as a kid but this was pre internet so all I knew about it came from a couple of magazine articles. Looking forward to reading about yours.
You guys are welcome to take her for a spin if you find yourselves in the neighbourhood and it isn't winter!

I love it - these things are wild. Back in the day in the UK there was a campaign (unsuccessful) to get them banned.
